OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster (OSSA) will partner with the Pakistani company Supreme Tecnocrafts to strengthen the presence of its members in the Pakistani market.
OSSA and its cluster member GALEN Tech, along with Supreme Tecnocrafts, a Pakistani company operating in the fields of aviation, weapon systems, ground support systems, and test systems, signed a cooperation agreement at the 10th IDEAS International Defence Exhibition and Seminar held in Karachi.
On the Turkish side, the agreements were signed by Mehmet Alkan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSSA, and Alptekin Erman, General Manager of GALEN Tech.
Mehmet Alkan told an AA reporter that Supreme Tecnocrafts would offer collaboration opportunities to increase the presence of OSSA members and GALEN Tech's products in the Pakistani market.
Alkan also explained that OSSA will be working on presenting its experience in clustering as a model for a clustering plan in Pakistan and contributing to the creation of a similar cluster there.
Alptekin Erman also stated that, in line with Türkiye's strategy on international platforms, they attach special importance to activities in D8 countries.
Erman emphasized that they were proud to contribute to the country's strategy with the signature they affixed, and stated that such agreements are of great importance for SMEs to survive and open up to new markets.
Erman pointed out that the testing infrastructure in which they operate is developing all over the world, and stated that without a strong infrastructure, it is not possible to accurately determine whether a designed product has been manufactured properly.
Alptekin Erman noted that as they strengthen their capabilities through such collaborations, they aim to provide Türkiye with a much better and more diverse testing infrastructure.
