The fourth ICDDA event, the first of which was held on March 6-8, 2013 and awarded the "2014 Defense Industry Special Award" by the Presidency of Defense Industry, took place on October 23-25, 2018 at the Ankara Beytepe Congress Center with the support of the Presidency of Defense Industry and the organization of the OSTİM Defense and Aerospace Cluster. Achieving even greater success than the previous three events, the organization attracted 260 companies representing the defense and aerospace sectors from 60 countries. Participating companies had the opportunity to conduct a total of 5,700 business meetings with selected firms over the three days.
On the first day of the ICDDA event, conferences were held on the following topics: “Industrial Cooperation in an International Context”, “Areas of Cooperation in the Aviation Industry”, “Airworthiness Certification: Civil and Military Applications”, and “Cooperation in the Defense Industry”. On the second and third days, in addition to business meetings, workshops on procurement processes and supply chain policies were organized by CERN, NATO NSPA, UKROBORONPROM, DASSAULT SYSTEMES, PTC, and ROLLS-ROYCE.
