The fifth Industrial Cooperation Days in Defence and Aerospace (ICDDA) event, previously held in 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2018, took place in Ankara at the ATO Congresium between October 12-14, 2022, organized by the OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster (OSSA) with the support of the Presidency of Defence Industry and the Ministry of Trade, as always. The ICDDA event hosted over 90 foreign participants from more than 50 countries, including numerous companies, investors, and institutions. A total of 7,500 B2B business meetings were held, and 20 cooperation agreements were signed between Turkish companies and companies from participating countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia.
ICDDA brought together major industrial and SME firms operating in the military and civil defense, aviation, and aerospace sectors to find new markets, seize business opportunities, and establish business partnerships. As a highly effective and respected organization, ICDDA organized bilateral business meetings, conferences, and seminars to identify target countries with unique needs and opportunities, and to translate potential cooperation possibilities in the defense and aerospace sectors into concrete steps.
At ICDDA 2022, manufacturing and service provider SMEs had the opportunity to showcase their capabilities in the civil and military fields through planned bilateral business meetings with purchasing and supply chain officials from prestigious defense and aerospace companies (OEMs), Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, and related institutions participating in the event from both Turkey and many other countries around the world.
