Major General Sıtkı Varlı, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Military Factories of the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Turkey, visited the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Directorate and exchanged views on cooperation in the areas of localization and procurement.
OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) Board Chairman Orhan Aydın briefed Major General Varlı on the clusters and technological infrastructure within the region's ecosystem. Aydın noted that they could contribute to the work by allocating an office in OSTİM OSB to the General Directorate of Military Factories. Major General Sıtkı Varlı stated that they would assign a permanent representative to the OSTİM office to effectively maintain cooperation in the studies to be carried out in coordination with OSSA.
