OSSA in short:

In 2015, OSSA, along with its cluster members, participated in the Paris Aeroshow, an exhibition attended by 2300 companies from 48 countries, and conducted nearly 450 business meetings at its stand. In 2015, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the French Aerospace Cluster Aerospace Valley, aiming to achieve concrete results from collaborations between SMEs. The signing ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from the Undersecretariat of Defence Industry, the French Aerospace Industries Group GIFAS, French parliamentarians, and officials from TAI and TEI.

OSSA continues its efforts to represent its members in the defense and aerospace sector; to develop collaborations between SMEs and the public sector, main industries, and universities; and to contribute to the localization of the sector. In this context, activities continue in coordination with SSM, our main industries, the Police, the Gendarmerie, and the Commands to develop the sector and support the growth of SMEs. OSSA places importance on promoting its members at international fairs and platforms; and takes the lead in enabling SMEs to go abroad. At the Ankara Industrial Cooperation Days in Defense and Aerospace (ICDDA) event, which OSSA organized for the 3rd time under the auspices of SSM on October 11-13, 2016, 220 exhibitors from 33 countries participated with stands; and 5400 registered business meetings were held.

The 4th ICDDA event will take place from October 16-18, 2018.
