At the fair, which featured stands from 40 member companies, the Electromagnetic Cannon ŞAHİ 209 Block 2, designed and manufactured by Turkish engineers in OSTİM and produced by YETEKNOLOJİ, a member of OSSA, was showcased. Deputy Ministers of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede and Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and Chief of General Staff General Yaşar Güler inspected ŞAHİ 209 Block 2 and received information from YETEKNOLOJİ A.Ş. General Manager Fazıl Hızal.
DEMİRHAN, a medium-class armed unmanned ground vehicle developed by OĞUZKAĞAN Defense, an OSSA member company located in Ostim Technopark, was among the projects that attracted the most attention from both domestic and foreign guests. DEMİRHAN, Turkey's largest armed unmanned ground vehicle, is equipped with ASELSAN's Sarp Weapon System. The system can be controlled from a distance of 3 km and transmit real-time video.
Commenting on IDEF, OSSA Chairman A. Mithat Ertuğ stated that the Turkish defense and aerospace industry has made significant progress in recent years. Ertuğ said: “Undoubtedly, SMEs play a crucial role in achieving this momentum. The fact that our government believes in and trusts the capabilities of SMEs in the implementation of important projects positively contributes to their development. As OSSA, we demonstrate our sector's commitment to quality in our work with both domestic and global brands. These efforts are also reflected on a national level.”
