On April 20, 2017, Uğur Aydın, an OSSA official, participated in the National Power Workshop held in Kayseri in collaboration with the Undersecretariat of Defence Industry, Erciyes Technopark, and Technopark Istanbul. During the event, he held bilateral meetings with officials from BMC Power Group Motor Systems and Aselsan Electric Vehicle Systems.
During bilateral meetings with Project Engineers, Group Leaders, and Team Leaders, the capabilities and potential of OSSA member companies were explained. It was highlighted that OSSA member companies could meet the production, machinery, equipment, and service requirements needed in upcoming or ongoing projects.
- Aykut AKGÜL, the leader of the Power Group, stated that BMC POWER, established for engines and transmissions, needs such support. He informed us that he would contact OSSA as soon as possible, and that BMC officials would like to seek support from member companies on the necessary matters. Arrangements will be made to host BMC officials in Ankara. We would like to inform our OSSA members that the workshop was productive and that BMC is open to collaborations with SMEs.
