ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE PUBLIC
OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster Association (OSSA), Turkey's first Defence and Aerospace Industry Cluster, with its 202 member companies and over 7,000 employees, stands by our state and nation, as always, against the speculative economic attacks waged against our country.
Throughout our country's journey to become a global player in the defense industry, the obstacles that have been placed in our path in the areas of production and technology have been overcome one by one, and we have now reached a point where our country can produce its own land, air, and sea vehicles.
Members of the OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster Association (OSSA) have worked and continue to work with all their might in the creation of these platforms and systems.
In the face of the situation our country is being drawn into, members of the OSTİM Defense and Aerospace Cluster Association (OSSA) continue to work day and night, in three shifts, as they have for years. The best response to this vile attack against our country is to continue working and producing.
The OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster Association (OSSA), comprising 202 member companies, 60 of which are strong subcontractors holding AS9100 certification, will continue its efforts tirelessly, despite all challenges, in line with Turkey's goal of becoming a global player in the defense industry.
During our meetings with KOSGEB President Prof. Dr. Cevahir UZKURT, we discussed the hardship caused by exchange rate fluctuations in the support provided by KOSGEB; the KOSGEB President decided to increase the support to a certain extent to alleviate this hardship. On behalf of the OSSA Board of Directors, we would like to express our gratitude to KOSGEB President Prof. Dr. Cevahir UZKURT and the Deputy Secretary General of the Defense and Aerospace Industries Manufacturers Association (SASAD), Yılmaz KÜÇÜKSEYHAN, for their assistance in this matter.
We respectfully inform the public that we will continue to work and produce for the survival of our country, a stronger economy, the unity of our state and nation, and a stronger defense industry, and that no force can stop us on this path.
