A press conference was held to announce the "6th Cooperation Days in Defense and Aerospace" event, which will take place at the ATO Congresium on April 17-19, 2024. The meeting began with a presentation by OSSA Coordinator Dr. Semih Yiğit and continued with a speech by OSSA Chairman Mr. Ibrahim Yarsan. Mr. Yarsan stated, "As OSSA, we are striving to ensure that our SMEs have a strong position within this global order."
Mr. Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, stated that they had visited Mexico 10 years ago at the instruction of the Presidency of the Turkish Republic's Defense Industry, and that the cooperation program there had greatly impressed them. He added, "We said we should do this in Türkiye, we will hold this event in OSTİM, and so we started to organize the event."
The Deputy Chairman of the Presidency of Defence Industries of the Republic of Turkey, Prof. Dr. İhsan Kaya, thanked everyone who strives to assist the Presidency of Defence Industries in fulfilling its mission through such organizations. Regarding the event, Mr. Kaya stated, "I looked at the numbers in the basic context. Focusing on industrial cooperation in defense and aerospace, for 2016, the participation of over 200 companies from 33 countries and approximately 5,400 one-on-one meetings is incredibly valuable. With the program in April, I believe that the statistics obtained so far will be surpassed even more effectively, yielding very beneficial results for both the Presidency of Defence Industries and the Turkish industry."
