The DIAMOND Program Opening Meeting was held at OSTİM OSB and OSSA, with the participation of the Presidency of Defence Industry, the Ministry of National Education, and our valued member companies.
The meeting began with opening speeches by OSTİM OSB Regional Manager Adem Arıcı, OSSA Board Chairman İbrahim Yarsan, Ministry of National Education Department Head Ercan Alpay, and SSB Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Hakan Karataş.
Mr. Karataş emphasized that the ELMAS Program is one of the most important projects of the National Competence Initiative launched last year, and stated that with the increase in exports and mass production in the defense industry in the coming period, the need for qualified technicians will be of critical importance.
Following the opening speeches, a survey was administered to OSSA member companies to gather information on the needs and demands of technical high schools, and the results were shared with the companies.
