OSTİM Chairman of the Board Orhan Aydın paid a congratulatory visit to Saeed Thani Al Dhaheri, who was recently appointed as the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Ankara. Also present at the visit were UAE Ankara Embassy Commercial Attaché Ahmed Salama, OSSA Coordinator Dr. Uğur Aydın, and OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster International Project Specialist Buğra Pekuslu.
Ambassador Saeed Thani Al Dhaheri expressed his satisfaction that the first official visit was made by OSTİM. Reminding that they are tasked with developing economic cooperation between the two countries, Al Dhaheri said, “Developing economic relations also develops diplomatic relations. The key to diplomacy is the economy.”
Highlighting the technological and economic developments in Turkey, the Ambassador said: “Turkey has made great progress in industry and technology. As a Muslim country, we are proud of the point Turkey has reached. We want to transfer Turkey's experiences.”
OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın invited Ambassador Saeed Thani Al Dhaheri to OSTİM, stating that they are ready to develop trade and cooperation between the two countries. Aydın said, "We would be very happy if we could transform this visit into trade and business."
