ASFAT A.Ş. Strategy Director Barış Duman and his team of experts discussed collaboration opportunities in OSTİM.
OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın explained that OSTİM is a self-established region founded in 1967. Highlighting the impact of organizations like TUSAŞ, ASELSAN, and the Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE) on Ankara's industrialization, Aydın stated, “The defense industry requires a culture. That culture has been formed in OSTİM. We have initiated clustering efforts to make this ecosystem in our region more functional. We have clusters in the following areas: construction and industrial machinery, defense and aerospace, renewable energy and environmental technologies, medical, rail systems, rubber, and communication technologies.”
OSSA Chairman Mithat Ertuğ noted that they possess highly developed capabilities as a cluster. Expressing their readiness to cooperate in many areas, Ertuğ said, “As OSSA, we have export capabilities. Here, we need ASFAT's support.”
