At a ceremony organized by ASELSAN as part of the Productivity and Technology Fair 2021, cooperation protocols were signed with defense industry clusters. During the ceremony, where certificates of appreciation were also presented to companies that successfully completed their nationalization efforts, ASELSAN presented Certified Company Certificates to newly approved subcontractor companies.
During the ceremony, ASELSAN also signed a cooperation protocol with OSSA. The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, Chairman and General Manager of ASELSAN, and by Board Members İbrahim Yarsan and İbrahim Uğurlu on behalf of OSSA.
OSSA Board Member İbrahim Yarsan expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration with ASELSAN. Yarsan shared the following views: “As OSSA and its member companies, which are part of the ecosystem of ASELSAN, the locomotive of our country's defense industry, we are proud to support ASELSAN, which successfully represents our country. We thank ASELSAN for being a complement to this ecosystem and for honoring us in this way today.”
ASELSAN General Manager Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün also thanked the OSSA management and member companies for their dedication to localization and nationalization efforts.
Within the scope of the protocol
Within the scope of nationalization and/or sourcing/creation of resources to be determined by ASELSAN; OSSA will ensure the dissemination and promotion of the Nationalization Brochures ("Brochure(s)") prepared by ASELSAN for specific material/system/product groups to its member companies.
OSSA will conduct a preliminary review to identify companies that meet the requirements outlined in the brochures, and suitable qualified companies will be directed to ASELSAN for the application process.
For specific product groups with perceived nationalization potential, dissemination efforts will be increased by organizing workshops and/or technology days between the Parties.
Joint development activities will be carried out for OSSA member companies, which ASELSAN has included in its development focus.
