"YEPSAN AVIATION INDUSTRY INC.", a member of the "YEPSAN GROUP OF COMPANIES," which has 30 years of experience in the automotive sector, including design, mold making, machining, and sheet metal forming, and produces high volumes of sheet metal parts, such as 30,000 tons per year, entered the aviation sector with the support of the Undersecretariat of Defense Industry and a subcontracting agreement signed with Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ/TAI) at the end of 2012.

Completed in mid-2013, the company moved to a new 25,000 m2 facility in Ankara's Başkent Organized Industrial Zone. With the support of TAI, the machinery/equipment and software programs needed for the aviation sector were put into operation within a short period of one year, and the AS-9100 quality procedures were completed.

Starting from the second quarter of 2014, our company, with the approval of TAI, gradually began producing aviation sheet metal parts and has been accredited by Turkish Armed Forces Strengthening Foundation organizations such as ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, ROKETSAN, etc.

After completing specialized processes such as "Heat Treatment" and "Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection/FPI" within two years, our company obtained NADCAP Certificates, which were subsequently accredited by TAI, BOEING, AIRBUS, and SIKORSKY.

Many of the sheet metal parts for the HÜRKUŞ Training Aircraft and the GENERAL PURPOSE and ATAK Helicopters, currently produced by TAI, are manufactured by our company. We reached a mass production volume of 700,000 units by the end of 2017, and the target number of parts for 2018 is 1,250,000. At the same time, we strive to produce systems needed in the aviation sector, from design to unit level, on a turnkey basis.

It has been included in the direct supply chain, which is called TIER-1 by BOEING.

Our company, which performs sheet metal forming/production according to international quality standards, is expected to contribute to the international aviation sector with increasing production rates starting from 2018, thanks to its timely deliveries and competitive prices.

On the other hand, thanks to our quality, design, production capabilities and R&D efforts, the Qatar AW-139 Cabin and the cockpit designs of ATAK Helicopters were created by our company. Our goal in the field of simulators, simulation and test systems is to provide the necessary services in the most optimal way in areas needed by the defense industry, aviation, automotive and industrial sectors (Mechanical Design, Production, Systems Engineering, Testing, Mechanical Integration).

Our company, currently a 100% domestic and privately owned organization, is expected to become even more effective in the international sector in the very near future through consortia it will form as part of the responsibilities that growth will bring, thanks to its constantly evolving capabilities and resources.
