MERGEN PARKUR is a detector training simulation system that provides operators with real field experience of operational mine and improvised explosive device (IED) detection activities in a virtual environment.

Developed using virtual reality technology, MERGEN PARKUR aims to minimize operational usage errors and enables operators to practice mine/IED detection in a manner that is as close to real-life conditions as possible.

With MERGEN PARKUR, the detector operator performs search activities on virtual mines/IEDs, while the trainer can monitor the process simultaneously.

At the end of the training, the system automatically generates a comprehensive training results report. The report includes the ratio of detected mines to the total number of buried mines, reasons for undetected mines, visualization of scanned and unscanned areas on the map, and detailed detector usage errors.
