EPTA

EPTA is a manufacturing company that has been operating in the fields of tube and sheet metal forming, welding technologies, wire harness production, and electromechanical assembly since 1984. At its manufacturing facility located in the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone, EPTA brings its mass production experience gained from the refrigeration and white goods industries to applications in the aerospace and defense industries that require high quality and traceability.

EPTA’s main manufacturing capabilities include precision tube bending and end forming, sheet metal forming and press operations, controlled-atmosphere furnace brazing, orbital and TIG welding, tube and welded sub-assemblies, wire harness production, as well as electronic and electromechanical sub-assembly processes in an ESD-controlled area.

EPTA is capable of performing tube forming in the 1–42 mm diameter range in various materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and copper, as well as CNC tube bending and end-forming operations. In sheet metal forming, various metal parts can be manufactured using eccentric and hydraulic presses ranging from 30 to 320 tons.

One of EPTA’s key process capabilities is continuous controlled-atmosphere furnace brazing, which enables production at temperatures of up to 1200°C under a hydrogen-based protective atmosphere. Controlled heating and cooling profiles and multi-zone temperature control provide high process repeatability in mass production. EPTA operates five continuous brazing furnaces with different working cross-sections. EPTA designs and manufactures its brazing furnaces in-house.

In addition, EPTA has an engineering infrastructure for orbital and TIG welding technologies, custom fixture and tooling design, EPTA-developed production-specific automation systems, and the development of leak-testing solutions. In wire harness production, EPTA performs cable cutting, stripping, terminal crimping, automatic and semi-automatic grouping, and cable braiding operations. In its ESD-controlled production area, electromechanical sub-assembly operations are carried out involving PCBs, wire harnesses, power cables, grounding connections, and mechanical components.

EPTA has previous experience in various tube and tube sub-assembly projects in the civil aviation industry and, with its existing manufacturing and engineering infrastructure, aims to become a long-term manufacturing and solution partner for the aerospace and defense industries, particularly in the fields of tube assemblies, fluid lines, welded and brazed sub-assemblies, sheet metal parts, wire harness assemblies, and electromechanical sub-assemblies.
