ELOPSİS Elektronik Optronik Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş.

Our company was established in early 1995 as a family business with the aim of providing consultancy and representation services. Initially, it primarily acted as an intermediary for public institutions in procuring spare parts, mainly military equipment, that they had to purchase from abroad, and when necessary, imported and delivered spare parts to the relevant institutions.

In addition, our company provides engineering and consulting services, and works on promoting and marketing the products of foreign companies for which we have obtained representation rights. In parallel with the development of our defense industry, we have tried to instill in the companies we represent and provide consulting services the idea that instead of trying to sell ready-made products to Turkey, collaboration and technology transfer would be more productive. Within this scope, it has been possible to participate in submarine periscope maintenance/repairs and the ALTAY National Tank Project together with the companies we represent.

Furthermore, we have undertaken the role of sub-unit supplier in the development of the domestic Inertial Navigation System (INS) for our Armed Forces, and we continue our activities in this area. Representation, consultancy, and distributorship relationships with foreign manufacturers, as well as the training received, have enabled our company personnel to improve their technical background over time.

In parallel with the development of our ability to utilize our own resources, we have been able to establish a center aiming to provide maintenance and repair services in the optical and optronic fields, using entirely domestic resources and our advanced technical infrastructure. Our facility started providing services at the beginning of 2013. Currently, our center actively provides analysis of Target Coordinate Determination Systems and maintenance and repair of Laser Distance Measuring Devices (AZ30-AZ40/LH30-LP40). In this context, devices that have malfunctioned are also sent to our center by users from abroad. These devices are repaired and returned, and we are making a 'Service Export' that generates foreign currency for our country.

In addition, we continue our activities as a supplier to system integrators and manufacturers in domestic and export projects in the fields of Surveillance and Border Security Systems and Military Type Navigation Systems.

Improving our maintenance and repair capabilities is a top priority for us. On the one hand, we are working to become a geographically regional service provider for the devices within our capabilities and to increase our service export opportunities. On the other hand, we are striving to reduce the need to send devices abroad for maintenance and repair by acquiring the capability to service and repair different models of devices. We have planned investments in this area and our activities to acquire the necessary capabilities are ongoing. As a company management that has always aimed to improve itself and its customer portfolio since its establishment in 1995, we aim to develop and guide a defense industry that is strong, highly domestically produced, and export-oriented.
