D-Guard Mini is a compact radar-based IoT and automation board developed by Demsay for contactless, real-time human presence detection.

The onboard Ai-Thinker Rd-03H 24 GHz K-band radar module can detect stationary, moving, and micro-motion human presence at distances of up to 8 metres. Wi-Fi and BLE connectivity enable detection data to be transmitted wirelessly to central monitoring, alarm, and automation systems.

An integrated temperature and humidity sensor supports environmental monitoring, while the USB Type-C connection and external input/output interfaces enable integration with different control units, sensors, and peripheral systems.

Within defence industry applications, D-Guard Mini can be evaluated for presence detection in protected areas, facility and room occupancy monitoring, unauthorized movement detection, critical equipment area monitoring, intelligent lighting, and building automation. It also provides a flexible development platform for security systems, industrial automation, and IoT-based R&D projects.
