MAK Defense took its first steps into the defense sector in 2001 under the name MAK Ticaret, and has since continued its name in the sector as MAK Defense.

The company continued its operations by taking on the roles of US Department of Defense supplier and LEMO Türkiye - Middle East distributor. NATO and Namsa Kaynak also began to be included in the archives.

MAK Defense Industry, with its 15 years of experienced technical personnel and expertise, acts as a subcontractor for the US Defense Industry, the Ministry of National Defense, and corporate firms.

MAK Defense holds the AS 9100:2009 (Rev.D) Quality Management System certificate for Aerospace and Defense Organizations. It also possesses NATO Security certification and Facility Security certification.
