Established in Balıkesir in 1977 with a capital of 500,000 TL by workers employed abroad, and named after the Workers' Union, İŞBİR Elektrik Sanayi A.Ş. started producing original alternators under a Hitzinger license between 1981 and 1984, and has continued its production under the İŞBİR brand since 1984.
İŞBİR, Turkey's first generator and alternator factory, has become a school and benchmark in generator production in Turkey.
İŞBİR, which produces the generator with the highest local content and holds a domestic product certificate, carries out production with a total of 125 people, 20 of whom are engineers, in accordance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 management system understanding.
İŞBİR Elektrik Sanayi A.Ş. is a subsidiary of the Turkish Armed Forces Strengthening Foundation (TSKGV) and has 552 shareholders. As of today, 99.85% of its capital belongs to TSKGV.
