HARP Defense was established in 2017 with the aim of providing various solutions, from design to production, to companies operating in different industrial sectors, primarily the defense and aviation industries, with its advanced technology products and designs. Founded by a team with experience in computer-aided design and computer-aided engineering systems in the defense and aerospace sectors, HARP Defense stands out as a company with the knowledge and expertise to offer single-source solutions, mastering 3D design, flexible analyses such as static, shock, acceleration, and deceleration, and programmed systems dynamics methods, as well as electronic cooling techniques. HARP Defense, a partner of ASELSAN, serves as a leading company in the region and in this growing sector.

The design of mechanical structures for air, land, and sea platforms ensures their resistance to their environmental conditions and the ability of their electronic components to operate under these conditions. This is achieved mechanically across a technically expandable range, from unit (LRU / Line Replaceable Unit / Field Replaceable Unit) to board/module (SRU / Store Replaceable Unit / Maintenance Center Replaceable Unit). Each project is developed as a unique solution, a specific combination of configurations. Structural analyses are performed using finite element analysis, while electronic cooling analyses utilize programmable fluid dynamics centers. Licensed software is used for both flexible and electronic cooling analyses.

HARP DEFENSE also has its own production chain. Thanks to this infrastructure, which is ready for expansion in areas of need, both prototypes of new designs and products can be produced on time and without compromising quality. With its experience in design and diverse production capabilities, it can respond to needs very quickly, prepare designs in a short time according to standards, and deliver products within a few weeks.

HARP DEFENSE is working hard to increase production and improve human development in line with increasing demand and export targets. The 30-person team, mostly engineers, is planned to be reassembled twice in 2027. Furthermore, the factory construction in the Ankara HAB region is planned to be completed by the end of 2026, with production starting in 2027. The coating plant has recently commenced operations in Ankara İvedik.

HARP DEFENSE, specializing in mechanical design for electronics, has also nationalized the production of card locks used in electronics, eliminating the need for importing foreign products. This significant nationalization project, the Vikilit® brand of card locks, offers a wide range of products in all sizes and types. Thermal resistance and shock control tests conducted both within the company and by independent testing centers have proven the superior performance of Vikilit® locking systems compared to competitors. The domestic production offers both a price advantage and numerous logistical conveniences.

The Vikilit® product family is sold worldwide through DigiKey, a US-based global distributor of electronic components. HARP DEFENSE, with an active stock at DigiKey, sells to leading global defense and aerospace industry giants. HARP DEFENSE sells high value-added, uniquely designed products under its own brand as Turkish-made, and currently exports to the USA, Spain, Poland, Malaysia, India, Czech Republic, and South Korea. The goal is to increase export volume and the amount of exports made. Thanks to this success, ASELSAN was also awarded the "From Roots to the World" award.

The product families of captive screw and nut plate are also among the other products whose mass production is achieved.

On the other hand, the marketing of the power of electronics is ensured along with universal technology. These systems are increasingly producing more cooling power to ensure healthy operation. To address this need, HARP SAVUNMA develops projects with the support of KOSGEB and TÜBİTAK, as well as the production of module cooling methods and their components. In these systems, mechanical models of electronic equipment cooled with AFT (Air-Flow Through) and LFT (Liquid Flow Through) methods are being developed. This replication ensures better cooling of electronic storage, which provides higher heat dissipation.
