BOSAN was established in 1996 to meet the growing needs of the defense industry, operating in the fields of metal surface treatment and industrial painting. Since its inception, with its commitment to high quality, technical expertise, and production approach in accordance with international standards, it has become a reliable solution partner in the sector by offering surface coating and painting solutions that are particularly resistant to challenging environmental conditions.

In 2020, BOSAN launched its new production facility with an investment area of 13,500 m² in Ankara ASO 2nd Organized Industrial Zone, commissioning fully automated metal coating lines in a 5,000 m² section of this facility. Thanks to this strategic investment, its production capacity, process capabilities, and technological infrastructure have been significantly strengthened; and its service capacity for defense and aerospace projects requiring high precision has been increased.

As of 2025, the company has restructured under the name BOSAN Defense and Aerospace Inc., further expanding its field of activity. This transformation aims to focus on the specific requirements of the defense and aerospace sectors, develop domestic and national production capabilities, invest in high value-added technologies, and achieve a stronger position in international markets.

Today, with its expert team of 130 people, BOSAN provides services in the following processes in accordance with military and international standards:

• Aluminum conversion coatings (Alodin) (Class 1A, Class 3)
• Anodizing coatings (Type 1, Type 2, Type 3)
• Zinc, Zinc-Nickel, Phosphate, Passivation and Chemical Blackening coatings
• Precious metal coatings (Copper, Nickel, Tin, Silver and Gold)
• Electroelectric and Electroless Nickel plating
• Wet paint, camouflage paint, electrostatic powder coating and Cerakote coatings
• Vastcoat, Halar and Camouflage Coatings
• Dry/Solid Film lubrication coating
• Non-destructive testing method "Liquid Penetrant Testing"
• Sandblasting and surface preparation processes

BOSAN holds AS9100 Rev D, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management system certifications and has achieved a B success level in the EYDEP program, which is conducted to develop the defense industry ecosystem. Furthermore, by successfully completing the Model Factory training program, it has strengthened its corporate competencies in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and productivity in line with the "Learn-Transform" approach.

BOSAN serves leading organizations in Turkey's defense and aerospace industry, including TUSAŞ, ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, BAYKAR, MKE, HAVELSAN, and TÜBİTAK. Particularly as a certified supplier for ROKETSAN for over 15 years, it successfully maintains long-term collaborations in critical projects through its reliability, quality-oriented approach, and on-time delivery performance.
