As OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster (OSSA), we held the IDA Türkiye 2026 Launch Program, where we shared the new era of our organization, which has become a significant brand in the defence and aerospace sector, with the public.
Since 2013, we have been organizing our event under the name "Industrial Cooperation Days in Defense and Aerospace – ICDDA," and now, with a stronger vision, we have restructured it as IDA Turkey – Industrial Cooperation Days in Defense and Aerospace.
With the support of the Turkish Ministry of National Defence and the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB), and under the management and responsibility of OSSA, and organized by NGF Fuarcılık A.Ş., IDA Turkey will serve as a strategic platform for establishing strong international collaborations in the defence and aerospace sectors.
📍 At the opening ceremony, speeches were given by Prof. Dr. Haluk Gorgun, Head of the Defense Industry Department of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, and Ibrahim Yarsan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSSA.
🎯 As part of the launch, we took another important step with the signing ceremony held under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, President of the Presidency of Defence Industries of the Republic of Turkey, together with the companies that participated in our event.
📅 With IDA Türkiye, which will be held at Ankara Congresium on October 14-16, 2026, we aim to establish stronger, more sustainable, and internationally focused collaborations in the defense and aerospace sectors.
