Turkish Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Oruç Baba İnan, visited OSTİM. Following the welcoming ceremony, OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın provided information about the OSTİM ecosystem. His presentation also touched upon the establishment process of OSSA (Osmaniye Defense and Aerospace Cluster) and its activities to date. Ibrahim Yarsan, Chairman of the OSSA Board of Directors, highlighted the importance of SMEs in the defense and aerospace industry, sharing information about the cluster's work and the capabilities of its member companies. Yarsan also provided information about IDA Turkey, which will be held at ATO Congresium on October 14-16, 2026, and stated that in line with the organization's evolving vision and internationalization goals, the IDA Spain event will be held in Valencia, Spain in 2027. In this context, he also conveyed to Mr. İnan the expectations for institutional support for both IDA Turkey and IDA Spain activities.
