In order to establish domestic supply sources for raw materials, materials, spare parts, systems, and/or related services that are critical to the production, maintenance, repair, modernization, and shipbuilding activities of military factories and shipyards and are currently procured from abroad, a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement Guide" has been prepared for Strategic Cooperation Agreements with relevant public or private sector institutions and organizations, subject to ministerial approval.
The "Approved Supplier Candidate Evaluation Guide" has been created to ensure the supply of goods and services needed by the General Directorate of Military Factories and/or the General Directorate of Shipyards in their maintenance, repair, refurbishment, modernization, manufacturing, and shipbuilding activities at appropriate quality, time, and price, and to create a pool of sufficient number of willing candidates in terms of quality and quantity in the required areas.
An information meeting was held on Tuesday, June 19th, between 10:00 and 12:00 in the OSTİM OSB Conference Hall to introduce the Strategic Cooperation Agreement Guide and the Approved Supplier Candidate Evaluation Guide, which were created under the new legislation.
At the meeting, Air Supply Colonel Ahmet Duran KARTAL, Head of Material Management Department at the General Directorate of Military Factories of the Ministry of National Defence, and Air Engineering Colonel Aysun MARKAL, Head of Quality Systems Management Department, gave presentations on the Strategic Cooperation Agreement Guide and the Approved Supplier Candidate Evaluation Guide.
