A cooperation protocol was signed between the Gendarmerie General Command, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, OSTİM Technical University, and OSTİM Defense and Aerospace Cluster (OSSA) to develop and execute projects tailored to needs within the scope of activities that strengthen competitiveness in technology fields, such as R&D, design, system integration, production, and testing. This includes the transfer of OSTİM Technical University's technical and academic knowledge and infrastructure to the Gendarmerie General Command for needs analysis, feasibility studies, prototype development, consultancy work, and similar activities, as well as providing consultancy, training, and main and auxiliary product development services for all projects, including strategic and operational level, that the Gendarmerie General Command may require.
The protocol was signed by the Deputy Commander of the Gendarmerie General Command, Major General Halis Zafer Koç, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM, Orhan Aydın, the Rector of OSTİM Technical University, Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSSA, Mithat Ertuğ.
