Leading global companies in the defense and aerospace sectors were in Ankara for the second time for the "Industrial Cooperation Days in Defense and Aerospace" (ICDDA 2014) to meet with Turkish companies and conduct bilateral business meetings. The event, which included national and international brands such as Aernnova, Thales, Airbus, Zodiac, Boeing, TAI, ASELSAN, Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, Sikorsky, and Esterline, saw 250 companies from 34 countries conduct a total of 4,800 bilateral business meetings. Evaluations of ICDDA 2014, which was attended by 1,800 people, underlined the importance given to SMEs and highlighted their contribution to the growth of the sector.
The capital city opened its doors to yet another international event. The second "Industrial Cooperation Days in Defence and Aerospace" (ICDDA 2014), the first of which was held in 2013, took place at the ATO Congresium between October 14-16, 2014. Organized with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Economy, under the auspices of the Undersecretariat of Defence Industry, and hosted by the OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster (OSSA), ICDDA 2014 once again showcased the capabilities of the domestic defence industry to global giants.
