Extra Heavy Duty Tripods are designed for applications where stability and buckling strength are important under extra heavy loads up to 400 kg.

EHDT Series tripods offer two different upper platform options: Flat and 3 Way Leveling (precise horizontal level adjustment). The 3 Way Leveling model allows precise horizontal leveling under extra heavy loads.

The twin tube and two-stage leg structure provides reliable support. Comfortable one-handed double leg cuffs support extra heavy loads. Each leg has stainless steel spikes, which can be covered with adjustable rubber-based flat feet. Pile driving plates can be mounted under the adjustable feet to fix the tripod on soft ground. The minimum height can be reduced with adjustable mid-level spreaders.

To choose the right tripod, you need to consider the type of optics you’re using. Larger spotting scopes or binoculars require a stronger, heavier base to keep them stable.
