OSSA in short

In 2015, OSSA, along with its cluster members, participated in the Paris Airshow, which was attended by 2,300 companies from 48 countries, and conducted nearly 450 business meetings at its stand. In 2015, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with the French Aerospace Cluster Aerospace Valley, aiming to achieve tangible results from cooperation between SMEs. The signing ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from the Undersecretariat of Defence Industry and the French Aerospace Industries Group GIFAS, French parliamentarians, and officials from TUSAŞ and TEI.

OSSA continues its efforts to represent its members in the defense and aerospace sector, to develop collaborations between SMEs and the public sector, main industries, and universities, and to contribute to the localization of the sector. In this context, activities are carried out in coordination with SSM, our main industries, the Police, the Gendarmerie, and military commands to develop the sector and promote the growth of SMEs.

OSSA places great importance on promoting its members at international fairs and platforms, and plays a leading role in helping SMEs expand abroad. At the Ankara Defence and Aerospace Industrial Cooperation Days (ICDDA) event, which OSSA organized for the third time under the auspices of SSM on October 11-13, 2016, 220 exhibitors from 33 countries participated with stands, and 5,400 registered business meetings were held.

The 4th ICDDA event will be held from October 16-18, 2018.
